Turns out POTUS plays favorites. And we’re not talking about his diverse summer playlist.
In fact, he’s already chosen his entrepreneurial A-Team — the Presidential Ambassadors for Global Entrepreneurship for the White House (PAGE for short) are a superhero’s league of the business world: Shark Tank’s Daymond John, Theranos’ Elizabeth Holmes, designer Tory Burch, Airbnb’s Brian Chesky, and more.
Nominated in May, they act as global ambassadors for innovation and creativity. But they’re only one part of the president’s big entrepreneurial push.
At the recent Global Entrepreneurship Summit, Obama announced $1 billion in new private investments from government sources, global donors, banks and more to help fund business startups — with half going toward women and youth entrepreneurship. Hallelujah!
Two more White House projects on tap: the Growth Accelerator Fund awards prizes to accelerators that provide networking and mentorship to startups, and “Startup in a Day,”which partnered with local cities to make it much easier to figure out all the state and local requirements to start a business.

And hey, become a powerful enough business leader and you could be the next inhabitant of the Oval Office. At least that’s what Donald Trump is hoping.
